Our translators who are based overseas and who are paid into overseas bank accounts will be glad to hear that we are in the process of changing how we process international payments. We have now started using PayPal and Skrill (previously known as Moneybookers).
Many of you are perhaps already familiar with these services and may already have an account with either or both of them. They both provide a very quick and secure way to make and receive payments online.
If you don’t have a PayPal or Skrill account:
- Check on paypal.com and/or www.skrill.com if either of these services is available in your country. There are a few countries where they may not be available, which means that we will continue to use our old payment system for these countries.
- If available, set up an account.
- Make sure that your invoices state our responsibility code (85 518 000) as well as the email address linked to your PayPal or Skrill account.
We will process and pay your invoices as soon as we receive them.
Let us know if you have any questions about this new payment process.
